2023 Competition
In 2023 we have decided to focus our efforts on the Poetry Recitation Competition. For this reason, the Original Poetry and Discorso competitions will not run.
The Competition
Students are to write an original piece of poetry on a topic of their choosing. Students may choose any poetic style. Students must produce their own work. Teachers are advised to check for grammatical errors and assist students in proof-reading their work before final submission, however all entries must be honest representations of students' abilities. Teachers should not be translating students' work from English into Italian. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
Teachers please note: Students' poems must be in verse, should reflect suitable content for students' age and use grammatical structures appropriate to each student's year level.

This category is for students who have another nationality or heritage which is not ITALIAN. Students of Italian Australian heritage must not be entered into this category.
